Alexander C. Bartlett was a native of Lock Haven, PA that graduated from Central Mountain High School and Lock Haven University.
Upon finishing school in 2017, Alex moved to Baltimore, MD to start his career, all before learning in December 2018 that he was diagnosed with Stage 3C Testicular Choriocarcinoma. After a long fight, he sadly passed away on
June 30th, 2020. Alex is missed by all everyday, but his legacy will live on through his family, friends and the “Well” Endowment Scholarship in his name.“
Living with Stage 4 cancer at 25 years old surely wasn’t my plan. But I have to learn to live with it and keep fighting. It doesn’t just affect you, it affects everyone around you. My words of advice: don’t be afraid to talk to someone;
don’t be afraid to admit you’re having a bad day. Seek all the help that you possibly can, because when you’re diagnosed with cancer, so is everyone else around you.”
